What Is Compoden?

Compoden is an electronics component and project-kit store based in India, shipping domestically. It carries 12,000+ SKUs across 5,400+ products — over 1,000 individual components (boards, sensors, motors, drivers, displays, passives, tools) and 4,300+ project kits, each one a bill of materials that's already been checked to work together.

That's the store half. The other half is what makes it different from a normal component shop: Compoden is the supply side of Soldr, an AI hardware design engine that designs builds directly against this catalogue.

Two ways to shop

If you already know what you want, Compoden works like any well-organised component store: search for a board, a sensor, a motor, and buy it. The catalogue is browsable by age group, skill level, platform (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and more), and application — 65 collections in total.

If you don't know what you want yet, that's where it stops looking like a normal store. You describe what you're trying to build, in plain English, at soldr.ai — "a plant watering system that texts me when the tank is empty" — and the engine returns a complete parts list: every component checked against every other for voltage, logic level, current budget, bus conflicts, and pin count, priced from real stock. Wiring, a schematic, and working firmware come with it, and the whole thing can be bought as a single kit instead of a dozen separate line items.

What ties it together

Every product page carries a Build With This panel: land on a single sensor or board, and it tells you what to build with it and exactly what else you'd need to finish that build. You don't have to already know the rest of the parts list to get started from one component.

Shipping is domestic, from India, with free shipping on prepaid orders over ₹999, and Cash on Delivery (COD) available.

Where the two names fit together

Soldr designs. Compoden supplies. Soldr is the engine that turns an idea into a checked, buildable design; Compoden is the real inventory it designs against — not an affiliate feed, but stock the company actually holds, at live prices. Together they cover the full path most hardware tools stop short of: describe it, get the design, buy the parts, receive them, and build.

Want to see it work? Describe something you want to build at soldr.ai, or browse the catalogue directly at compoden.com.
