About Compoden

India's first AI-native electronics store. Describe your idea and get the parts, verified.

What we actually are

Compoden is a real electronics component store — we buy stock wholesale, hold it ourselves, and sell it directly. We are the seller of record on everything we ship. This is not an affiliate feed or a marketplace listing service: every part our engine names is something we physically hold, not a guess pulled from a supplier's catalogue we've never touched.

What makes it AI-native

Most stores make you already know what you need before you can search for it. Compoden works the other way: describe the project you're trying to build, in plain language, and the engine figures out which real, in-stock parts actually make it work — checked against our own inventory before anything is recommended, not invented by a model that has never seen a shelf.

Where we ship from

Compoden operates out of a real warehouse in Bangalore. That's not a claim for the sake of a claim — it's the same operation, same address, and same pan-India shipping that has run under The Engineer Store, now being brought under the Compoden name as the AI-native layer goes live on top of it.

How the two pieces fit together

Compoden is the store: the catalogue, the stock, the shipping. The build engine behind the "describe your idea" experience is Soldr — a separate product, built to source real parts and working builds, not just generate plausible-sounding code. Soldr reads from Compoden's live inventory; Compoden fulfills what Soldr sources. Neither is a wrapper around the other — they're built to work together.

Where we're headed

We're early. The parts catalogue and the AI-native build experience are both live today; the team is actively working through data-quality and coverage gaps as we grow — and we'd rather say that plainly than pretend the catalogue is finished. If you spot something wrong with a part listing, tell us at support@compoden.in — a person reads every message.
