Use this to charge a single lithium cell, boost it to 5V and protect it, all from one small board — the three functions a DIY power bank needs, without wiring three modules together. Commonly used for power banks, wearables and single-cell portable builds. Not suitable above about 1A output, and not suitable where you need the three functions separated for a bigger build — an integrated board is convenient but you cannot upgrade one stage. Key specs: 1 cell, 5V boosted output, ~1A, charge and protection integrated. Alternative: a TP4056 plus a separate boost module when you need more current or want to size each stage.
