Use this to set any rail between roughly 0.8V and 20V from a higher input, in the smallest board that will still carry 3A. Commonly used for breadboard rails from a battery, compact robot supplies and one-off bench voltages. Not suitable above 3A continuous, and not suitable where the trimpot can be knocked — set it with a multimeter before connecting your load, every time. Key specs: 4.5-28V in, adjustable out, 3A continuous, trimpot adjust. Alternative: the fixed 3.3V or 5V modules if your rail is one of those — a fixed output cannot be mis-set.
