9V Battery Snap to DC Barrel Jack Adapter | Compoden
Use this adapter to plug a standard 9V (PP3) battery straight into an Arduino Uno/Mega barrel jack — snap on one end, 5.5×2.1mm centre-positive barrel plug on the other. The quickest portable power for a controller: no soldering, no breadboard rail. Commonly used for demo rigs, science-fair projects, and any bench test that needs to walk. Not suitable for motor loads — a PP3 sources well under 500mA usefully and sags fast; power motors from their own pack and share ground. Key specs: PP3 snap, 5.5×2.1mm centre-positive plug, ~120mm lead. Alternative: the 6x AA holder with barrel jack for far more capacity at the same 9V.
