The kit establishes direct Bluetooth serial communication between the glove and hand without an app. However, you can adapt the HC-05 to an Android terminal for data logging - we provide hints in the build guide.
Is soldering required, and do I need prior experience?
Yes, you'll solder the flex sensor dividers, Bluetooth pins, and servo headers on the PCB prototype boards. A soldering iron and lead-free solder wire are included, and the AI companion shows close-up soldering joints. Basic soldering familiarity is recommended.
