INA226 I2C Power Monitor Module
Open this project in the Soldr app → What is Soldr.ai → wiring, code and test steps for exactly these parts
Use this to measure current and voltage over I2C with enough resolution to see a sleeping microcontroller — where a coarser sensor reads zero, this one reads the microamps that decide whether a battery lasts a week or a year. Commonly used for battery node profiling, sleep-current measurement and solar charge monitoring. Not suitable for mains circuits, and not suitable for measuring on the high side above its bus limit — check the shunt rating for your current before wiring it in. Key specs: I2C, 2.7-5.5V supply, high-resolution bidirectional current and bus voltage. Alternative: the INA3221 if you need to watch three rails at once, at lower per-channel resolution.
Ask Soldr above what you can build with this — it knows every Compoden kit this part appears in.
