Use this for the main power run of a pack or motor rig, where thin hookup wire would heat and drop voltage under load. Commonly used for battery-to-controller leads, motor power wiring and distribution on higher-current builds. Not suitable for signal runs or breadboards — it is deliberately thick and stiff for its class, and 16 AWG in a 0.1-inch header is awkward.
