4 Channel Relay Board for 38-Pin ESP32 5V Module | Compoden
4-Channel Relay Board for 38-Pin ESP32 — 5V, 10A Load Switching
The 4 Channel Relay Board is designed to interface directly with 38-pin ESP32 development boards using 5V logic. It provides four independent relays capable of switching up to 10A at 250VAC, allowing you to control high-power devices from your ESP32 projects. Ideal for home automation, appliance control, and IoT prototyping.

What You Can Build With This
- Wi-Fi-controlled home appliance switch using ESP32 with Blynk or ESPHome.
- Smart plug for lamps, fans, or heaters with scheduling via MQTT.
- Automated irrigation system controlling solenoid valves.
- Garage door opener with RFID or smartphone control.
Compatibility
This board is designed for the 38-pin ESP32 module, connecting directly to its GPIO headers. It can also be used with other 3.3V/5V microcontrollers such as Arduino Uno or Raspberry Pi GPIOS using jumper wires, but note that the relay coils require a 5V power supply irrespective of the controller's logic level.
Wiring Notes
Connect the board's 5V and GND pins to a stable external 5V supply capable of at least 500mA for all relays. The relay inputs are active LOW; set the corresponding ESP32 GPIO pin to LOW to energize the relay. Do not exceed the GPIO sink current limits—the onboard optocouplers handle the coil drive.
Why Buy from Compoden
Every component is sourced from verified suppliers and tested for compatibility before listing. We've spent 10 years building projects for makers, schools, and institutions across India. Ships from Bengaluru in 3-5 days. If defective on arrival, replace within 7 days.
Is this compatible with Arduino Uno?
Yes, it can be used with Arduino Uno by connecting the relay input pins to digital outputs and providing a separate 5V supply for the board. The pinout does not plug directly into Arduino headers, so jumper wires are required.
What is the maximum load each relay can switch?
Each relay is rated for up to 10A at 250VAC or 10A at 30VDC. Always verify your load current does not exceed this limit to prevent contact welding or overheating.
Do I need an external power supply for the relay board?
Yes, the relay coils require 5V and the ESP32's onboard 5V regulator cannot supply enough current for all four relays. A separate 5V supply (e.g., phone charger) must be connected to the board's power input.
