Use this to measure current up to 20A with better resolution than the 30A part, isolated from the circuit under test. Commonly used for motor current monitoring, pump and fan loads and battery discharge logging in the mid range. Not suitable above 20A, and not suitable for milliamp work — a Hall-effect sensor's resolution is a fixed fraction of its range, so small currents disappear into noise. Key specs: 20A bidirectional, 5V supply, analog output, isolated. Alternative: the 30A version if your peak exceeds 20A, or an INA226 for sub-amp measurement.
