Raspberry Pi Pico 2 - RP2350 Dual-Core Microcontroller Board
Raspberry Pi Pico 2 - RP2350 Dual-Core Microcontroller Board
The Raspberry Pi Pico 2 is the second-generation Pico, built around Raspberry Pi's own RP2350 chip -- a dual-core Arm Cortex-M33 (switchable to dual-core RISC-V Hazard3) running at up to 150MHz, with 520KB of SRAM and 4MB of onboard QSPI flash. It's a straight upgrade path from the original Pico (RP2040): faster, more memory, hardware-accelerated integer/float operations, and improved GPIO with configurable drive strength.
Specifications
- Chip: RP2350 (dual-core Arm Cortex-M33 @ 150MHz, or dual-core RISC-V Hazard3)
- SRAM: 520KB
- Flash: 4MB onboard QSPI
- GPIO: 26 multi-function pins, 3x ADC
- USB: 1.1 controller and PHY, host and device support
- Operating voltage: 1.8-5.5V input via USB or VSYS
- Programming: MicroPython, CircuitPython, or C/C++ SDK (same toolchain as the original Pico, drop-in compatible pin layout)
Pico 2 vs Pico (RP2040)
Same 21mm x 51mm form factor and pinout as the original Pico, so most Pico projects and shields carry over directly. The RP2350 adds ~2x SRAM (520KB vs 264KB), hardware division/float support, and a security/RISC-V core-switching feature not present on the RP2040. If your project needs more headroom for buffers, floating-point math, or just wants the newer chip, this is the drop-in upgrade.
Note
This is the bare board (RP2040-style, no WiFi). For a wireless variant, see the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W.
