What is the difference between this 360° servo and a standard servo?
This MG995 has been modified for continuous rotation. It does not hold a fixed angular position like a standard servo. Instead, it rotates continuously in either direction based on the PWM signal. Use it for wheels or winches, not for precise angle control.
How do I control the direction and speed of this servo?
Send a 50 Hz PWM signal. A pulse width of ~1500 µs stops the motor. Pulses shorter than 1500 µs rotate one direction, longer pulses rotate the opposite direction. The further from 1500 µs, the faster the rotation. Use the Servo library on Arduino or similar on other platforms.
