Asset Location Tracker Kit with Arduino Nano + NRF24
Asset Location Tracker Kit — Track and Point at Moving Coordinates with Arduino Nano
Every part needed, pre-tested for compatibility, with an AI build companion trained on this exact project. Shipped from Bengaluru in 3-5 days.
Ever wanted to track a moving object and have a system physically point at it in real time? This kit lets you build a complete asset location tracker: a GPS-equipped target transmits its coordinates wirelessly, and a base station automatically aims a pan-tilt servo assembly toward the target. Whether you're monitoring equipment, building a drone tracker, or experimenting with wireless automation, the project delivers a solid foundation in motor control and RF communication.
What You'll Build
You'll assemble two Arduino Nano-powered units. The mobile transmitter pairs a NEO-6M GPS with an NRF24L01 to send latitude and longitude data. The base station uses a second NRF24L01 to receive those coordinates, computes bearing and distance, drives two SG90 servos on a pan-tilt bracket, and displays the tracking info on a 0.96-inch OLED. Move the target around, and watch the pan-tilt mount precisely point an attached antenna or laser in its direction.
What You'll Learn
- Parse and extract GPS coordinates from NEO-6M serial data
- Set up reliable wireless links between two NRF24L01 modules
- Program servo motors for smooth pan-tilt aiming based on real-time calculations
- Solder and assemble circuits on prototype boards — a core prototyping skill

Who This Kit Is For
Ideal for CBSE Class 11-12 students exploring wireless communication in their physics or computer science labs, B.Tech ECE/EEE students building GPS-based tracking projects, and ATL Tinkering Labs introducing servo control and IoT concepts. Smart India Hackathon teams will also find it a reliable base for asset-monitoring prototypes.
Built and Backed by Compoden
Every Compoden kit ships with an AI build companion trained on this exact project — accessible via a QR code on the box, with WhatsApp and email backup. We've spent 10 years building projects for makers, schools, and institutions across India. If a part fails because of a manufacturing defect, replace it free within 7 days.
What if I get stuck during the build?
Scan the QR code inside the box to open our AI companion, or message us on WhatsApp for direct help from our hardware engineers.
Can I increase the range of the NRF24 wireless link?
Yes, the included 100nF and 10µF decoupling capacitors stabilize the modules for maximum range. For longer distances, you can add external antennas (not supplied) to the NRF24L01 modules.
Does this kit require soldering?
Absolutely — you will assemble both the transmitter and receiver on prototype boards using the soldering iron and solder wire that come in the box. The process teaches essential prototyping skills you'll use in countless other projects.
What happens if a component is missing or damaged?
If anything arrives missing or with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days. We will ship a free replacement immediately, and every kit is inspected before dispatch to minimise such issues.
