With deep sleep and a transmission interval of about 1 minute, the 500 mAh LiPo lasts roughly 4-5 days on a full charge. You can adjust the reporting frequency in the firmware to extend battery life significantly.

Can I integrate this with Home Assistant or other platforms?

Absolutely. Once the node joins a Thread network, its data can be bridged via Matter-over-Thread and integrated into smart home platforms such as Home Assistant, Apple Home, or Node-RED. The kit provides the sensor endpoint; the integration is up to you.
