Will the remote work through walls or concrete?

The 433MHz signal passes easily through wooden walls, glass, and drywall. Concrete and metal reduce range significantly; indoors you can expect 30–50 metres through a couple of walls, while outdoors with line‑of‑sight you will get the full 100 metres.

Can I add more buttons or control more LEDs?

Yes. The two included buttons can already map to the three LEDs with a simple code tweak. By modifying the packet structure you can expand to many more commands – a great next step for exploring RF protocols.

Do I need soldering?

No soldering is required. All connections are made on the included breadboards using the M-M jumper wires. The transmitter, receiver, LEDs, and buttons plug directly into the breadboard.
