Compatibility

Wiring Notes
Connect VCC (red) to 5–24V, GND (black) to ground, and OUT (yellow) to a digital input with a 10kΩ pull‑up to VCC. The sensor triggers when liquid is detected—OUT goes low. Ensure the sensing pad is firmly pressed against the clean, dry, non‑metallic surface.

This sensor is optimized for water and conductive liquids. Diesel and oils are non‑conductive; detection is unreliable. For such fluids, consider optical or float‑based sensors.
What if my container wall is thick?
The maximum detection distance is about 5 mm for standard plastic or glass. For thicker walls, you may need a sensor with longer range or a different mounting method.
