Use this to raise a voltage rather than drop it — most often to run 5V logic from a single 3.7V lithium cell. Commonly used in wearables, single-cell portable builds and anywhere a battery sits below the rail it must feed. Not suitable above 2A output, and remember a boost draws MORE current from the battery than it delivers, so a 2A 5V output pulls well over 3A from a 3.7V cell. Key specs: 2-24V in, up to 28V adjustable out, 2A output, trimpot adjust. Alternative: the fixed 5V boost breakout if you want 5V without setting a pot.
