Use this when a 12A module is the bottleneck — it is the largest buck converter in the range, for large servo arrays and multi-motor rigs. Commonly used for high-current bench rails, big robots and battery-to-logic conversion on serious builds. Not suitable at its full 20A without forced airflow: the honest continuous figure is about 15A with a fan, and the 300W headline assumes both a high output voltage and cooling you must actually fit. Key specs: 6-40V in, 1.2-36V adjustable out, 20A peak / ~15A continuous with a fan. Alternative: the 300W 12A module when 8A continuous covers you and the lower price matters.
