Use this to protect a three-cell lithium pack where the peak draw stays comfortably under 20A — the cheaper tier below the 25A balanced board. Commonly used on 3S 18650 packs, 12V portable builds and light rover packs. Not suitable above 20A continuous, and not suitable if you need balancing — size the BMS to your peak draw, not your average, because a stall or startup surge is what trips it. Key specs: 3 cells, 11.1V nominal / 12.6V full, 20A continuous. Alternative: the 3S 25A balanced board if the pack matters enough to keep cells matched.
