Use this to protect and balance a four-cell lithium pack where the draw is high enough that a 20A board would be the weak link. Commonly used on 4S rover packs, high-current servo rigs and 14.8V assemblies. Not suitable above 40A continuous — and read the board's own body text, because boards printed 40A sometimes state a 20A working current in their own description. Key specs: 4 cells, 14.8V nominal / 16.8V full, 40A continuous, balanced. Alternative: the 3S 25A board if your pack is three cells — a 4S board will not protect a 3S pack correctly.
