Can the robot navigate indoors without GPS signal?

The three ultrasonic sensors enable autonomous obstacle avoidance in indoor corridors or labs. For waypoint-based navigation, the GPS module requires a clear sky view; you can replace waypoints with dead-reckoning routines for indoor use.

What terrain can the 4WD chassis handle?

The 12V DC motors and large rubber tires give it traction on smooth floors, low-pile carpets, and slightly uneven surfaces. It is not designed for outdoor rough terrain or sand.

Does this kit include a battery charger?

The 12V 5Ah battery can be charged using any standard 12V sealed lead-acid charger (not included). The LM2596 buck converter safely steps down voltage for the Arduino Mega and sensors.
