Compatibility

This chassis works with popular development boards like Arduino Uno, Mega, Nano, and Raspberry Pi 3/4. To drive the motors, you need an external motor driver such as L298N or L293D. The motors operate at 3-6V, so a separate power supply (e.g., 2-3 AA batteries or a 7.4V LiPo with regulator) is recommended. Logic power can be drawn from the board's 5V or 3.3V pin while keeping the motor supply isolated.

Wiring Notes

Connect each motor's terminals to the output of an H-bridge driver. The driver’s input pins go to digital I/O on your microcontroller. Use a shared ground between the motor power and logic circuits. Add a 100µF capacitor across the motor terminals to reduce electrical noise.
