Which SIM card works with the SIM800L module?

The SIM800L uses 2G GSM networks. Airtel and Vodafone Idea 2G SIMs work reliably across India. Jio SIMs (4G‑only) will not work. Prefer a normal‑sized SIM with SMS credit.

Can I permanently install this in my car?
