What You'll Build

A wall-mounted safety unit that continuously monitors your kitchen environment. The MQ-2 sensor detects combustible gas or smoke and activates Relay 1 to cut the gas valve. The MQ-7 picks up dangerous CO levels, sounding an active buzzer and flashing a red LED. A water sensor probe guards against floods, and when moisture shorts it, Relay 2 shuts off the water supply. The SIM800L GSM module fires real-time SMS alerts to your phone, identifying the leak type so you always know the threat. All three sensors run truly in parallel on the Arduino Mega’s multiple ADC channels — no compromises.
