Do I need my own drone, and what payload weight should it handle?

You supply the drone. The assembled payload weighs approximately 120 grams including battery, so any drone with a minimum payload capacity of 150–200g and tie-down points works — common 5-inch FPV builds or DJI FPV-style airframes are sufficient.

Is the Python overlay script included, or do I have to write it from scratch?

The AI companion provides a complete, well-commented script that reads the CSV log and image timestamps, then uses OpenCV to draw pressure values onto each frame. You can modify it to change fonts, position, or overlay style to match your project requirements.

Can I log data without flying, for a stationary greenhouse test?
