Compatibility
Designed for the Arduino Uno R3, this shield also fits the Duemilanove and most third-party boards with the standard Uno header layout. It will physically connect to an Arduino Mega 2560, but only the Uno-compatible pins (D0-D13, A0-A5) are broken out to terminals. The shield can be stacked with other shields if you use extended pin headers.
Wiring Notes
Simply press the shield onto the Arduino Uno, ensuring all pins align. Insert wires into the screw terminals and tighten firmly. For power, use the Vin terminal if supplying voltage through the Arduino's barrel jack, or use the 5V/GND terminals for logic-level peripherals. Do not exceed the current rating per terminal to avoid damage.
