Arduino 5-in-1 Sensor Kit: Ultrasonic, PIR, IR Proximity, DHT11, Soil

This 5-in-1 sensor kit provides essential modules for your Arduino projects. It includes an HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance sensor, a PIR motion detector, an IR proximity sensor, a DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, and a capacitive soil moisture sensor. Ideal for robotics, home automation, and environmental monitoring.

Key Specifications

Specification Value
Sensors Included HC-SR04, PIR (HC-SR501), IR Obstacle Avoidance, DHT11, Soil Moisture (Capacitive)
Operating Voltage 3.3V–5V DC (all sensors)
Ultrasonic Range 2 cm – 400 cm
DHT11 Accuracy ±2°C (temperature), ±5% RH (humidity)
PIR Detection Range Up to 7 meters, 120° cone
Soil Sensor Output Analog voltage (0–3V) proportional to moisture

What You Can Build With This

  • Smart home security system with PIR motion alerts and ultrasonic intruder detection
  • Automatic plant watering system using soil moisture sensor and relay
  • Weather station logging temperature, humidity, and rain detection
  • Obstacle-avoiding robot with IR and ultrasonic sensors

Compatibility

All sensors work with Arduino Uno, Mega, Nano, and ESP8266/ESP32 boards. They operate on 5V logic, with some also supporting 3.3V. The DHT11 and PIR require one digital pin each; the ultrasonic uses two pins (trigger, echo); the IR and soil sensors use one digital/analog pin. Common libraries: DHT.h, NewPing.

Wiring Notes

Connect VCC to 5V and GND to common ground. For the ultrasonic sensor, trigger to pin 9, echo to pin 10. PIR sensor output to pin 2, with a 10-second delay on startup. DHT11 data pin to pin 4 with a 10k pull-up resistor to VCC. Soil sensor analog out to A0.

Why Buy from Compoden

Every component is sourced from verified suppliers and tested for compatibility before listing. We've spent 10 years building projects for makers, schools, and institutions across India. Ships from Bengaluru in 3-5 days. If defective on arrival, replace within 7 days.

Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi?

Yes, with 3.3V logic level converters for the ultrasonic and PIR sensors. The DHT11 and soil sensor work directly with 3.3V.

Does it include sample code and datasheets?

All components come with link to online datasheets. Sample Arduino sketches are available on our support page.

Can I use this kit for a school project?

Absolutely. The sensors are pre-soldered and ready to use, with standard pin headers for easy breadboarding.

šŸ“¦ Free Setup Handoff Document Included

Every Compoden order includes a free setup handoff document — step-by-step instructions to get your component working within minutes. Download it via QR code on your package. The handoff document is also trained to help you troubleshoot the majority of problems.
