What You'll Build

You’ll assemble a multi-sensor network around a baby’s cot, pacifier mat, and feeding pump area. Three MPU6050 motion sensors track kicks, rollovers, and device movement. Three DHT22 sensors monitor air temperature and humidity near the mattress, changing table, and room corner. Two ACS712 current sensors watch the feeding pump and night lamp power draw. A TCA9548A I2C multiplexer expands the ESP32’s bus so all sensors can be polled without address conflicts. The embedded code pushes the combined 10-stream dataset over WebSocket to a browser, where a Three.js model of your baby room updates the crib tilt, room temp bubbles, and device status in real time.
