Arduino UNO Q 4GB SBC - ABX00173
Arduino UNO Q 4GB Single Board Computer (ABX00173) — Dual-Brain Linux + Real-Time MCU
The Arduino UNO Q (ABX00173) is a dual-processor single-board computer that pairs a Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ QRB2210 microprocessor (quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A53) running Debian Linux with an STMicroelectronics STM32U585 microcontroller (Arm® Cortex®-M33) running the Arduino Core on Zephyr OS. The two sides communicate through Arduino's Bridge RPC library, so Arduino sketches on the MCU can call Linux services for high-level tasks while Linux applications drive the MCU's real-time peripherals. It keeps the classic UNO form factor and shield compatibility, and integrates with Arduino App Lab to combine sketches, Linux apps, and AI models in one environment. Designed for prototyping, edge AI/ML, machine vision, education, smart devices, robotics, home automation, and gaming.

What You Can Build With This
- Edge AI and machine-vision projects using a USB or MIPI-CSI camera on the Linux side
- Robotics where Linux runs high-level logic and the STM32 handles real-time motor and sensor control
- IoT gateway or smart-home hub aggregating sensor data locally before syncing to the cloud
- Hybrid applications combining Python, Arduino sketches, and containerized AI models via Arduino App Lab
Compatibility
UNO Q keeps the classic UNO form factor and works with a wide range of Arduino hardware, from classic UNO shields to new carriers and Modulino nodes via the Qwiic connector. Program the MCU side with the Arduino IDE 2.x or Arduino App Lab; the Linux side runs a full Debian environment with Python 3 and standard Linux tooling. Note: many existing UNO shields use 5V logic — confirm logic-level expectations for each shield, as the Linux-side GPIO and high-speed peripherals operate at 3.3V.
Wiring & Power Notes
Power the board over USB-C with a 5V/3A supply, via the 5V pin, or through VIN (7-24V DC). For single-board-computer use, a USB-C dongle provides power plus video, keyboard, and mouse. The board boots into Debian with Arduino App Lab available. For I2C peripherals, use the Qwiic connector or the standard SDA/SCL pins.
Why Buy from Compoden
Every component is sourced from verified suppliers and tested for compatibility before listing. We've spent 10 years building projects for makers, schools, and institutions across India. Ships from Bengaluru in 3-5 days. If defective on arrival, replace within 7 days.
Can it run AI models locally?
Yes. The Qualcomm Dragonwing MPU runs Debian Linux with GPU acceleration and supports lightweight AI/ML and machine-vision workloads through Arduino App Lab. For heavier language models, the board is best paired with a cloud API over its built-in Wi-Fi.
Does it work with classic Arduino shields?
It retains the UNO form factor and header layout, so many classic UNO shields fit. Verify each shield's logic-level and pin requirements before use.
How is it powered?
Via USB-C (5V 3A), the 5V pin, or VIN (7-24V DC). For desktop/SBC use, a USB-C dongle supplies power along with HDMI video and USB peripherals.
